We are excited to announce the newest member of our team at Assure, Dr Bernard Luczak. With a remarkable journey through surgical training and a specialisation in plastic and reconstructive Surgery, Dr Luczak brings a wealth of expertise and experience to our practice with a solid foundation in patient care.

In 2006, Dr Luczak successfully completed his medical training at the University of Western Australia (UWA), achieving Honours in both the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degrees.

He initiated his career as a junior medical practitioner at Royal Perth Hospital and subsequently gained experience across the major tertiary hospitals in Perth. Throughout this period, he concurrently pursued specialist training in the field of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

In 2018, Bernard achieved the distinction of being recognised as a Specialist Plastic Surgeon upon being granted a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery.

Fueled by a special interet in microsurgical reconstruction, Bernard further expanded his expertise through post-fellowship involvement in advanced reconstructive procedures at Royal Melbourne Hospital in 2018.

Subsequently, he returned to Perth to establish his private practice, in addition to taking up appointments as Consultant Specialist Plastic Surgeon at both Royal Perth Hospital and Fiona Stanley Hospitals.
